Job Description | Axiom Developer – Regulatory Reporting

Overview

We are seeking an Axiom Developer to join the Regulatory Reporting Technology team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining regulatory reporting solutions using AxiomSL ControllerView V10.

The professional will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant solutions across multiple entities, including Broker Dealer, BHC, IHC, and FINRA environments.

Key Responsibilities

Development and Configuration

• Develop and configure reports within AxiomSL ControllerView V10
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical specifications
• Build and optimize data models, aggregations, and data sources within Axiom
• Map data from source systems into Axiom data structures
• Configure portfolio structures, shorthand logic, branch creation, and rollover processes
• Implement and support modules such as Haircut, Liquidity Risk, and Basel III

Data Integration and Quality

• Integrate Axiom with upstream systems such as OFSAA and enterprise data warehouses
• Perform source to target mapping and transformation logic
• Apply patches and upgrades to Axiom environments
• Conduct data validation and analysis to ensure reporting accuracy
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues

Testing, Support and Documentation

• Support SIT and UAT including validation and defect resolution
• Provide production support and troubleshoot reporting and data issues
• Maintain documentation for configurations, data flows, and reporting logic
• Participate in planning, estimation, and delivery cycles
• Collaborate with IT, Audit, and Regulatory stakeholders

Technical Environment

Platforms and Tools

• AxiomSL ControllerView V10
• SQL and PL SQL including procedures and functions
• Unix and Shell scripting
• Job schedulers such as Control M and Autosys
• OFSAA and enterprise data warehouse integration

Data and Architecture

• ETL and data flow principles
• Axiom metadata design both technical and business
• Source to target mapping and transformation logic
• XML and XBRL standards

Methodologies

• Agile DevOps
• SDLC including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands on experience with AxiomSL ControllerView V10
• Experience developing regulatory reports such as FR Y 9C, FR 2052a, CCAR, LCR, and Basel III
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks including CCAR and FR Y 14
• Proficiency in SQL and PL SQL for data processing and analysis
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration
• Strong understanding of Axiom architecture
• Experience with source to target mapping
• Experience working with cross functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Advanced English

Nice to Have

• Experience with OFSAA
• Knowledge of XML and XBRL reporting standards
• Understanding of accounting principles
• Experience in banking or financial services
• Exposure to DevOps tools and automation
• Familiarity with additional regulatory reports such as FR Y 11, FR Y 12, SEC filings, and FFIEC
